Getting Back To Nature With Hog Roast Viewpark

It’s not very often that we’re blessed with good weather here in Scotland, so when the sun finally does make an appearance, we’ve learned to make the most of it before it disappears again behind a sea of grey clouds and a sheet of rain! And during the country’s most recent wave of heat, we were pleased to see other people making use of the decent forecast, too, by planning and hosting as many outdoor events as they were able, which our Hog Roast Viewpark caterers were very happy to be involved in. Among the many, many, celebrations we helped out with, before the weather took a bit of a…

Winter Walk – Hog Roast Fort William

Last month we were asked to be part of a popular event hosted by a local pub in Fort William. Each season they host a long walk through the Scottish countryside where couples, families, children and four legged friends alike come together, this time wrapped up in gloves and scarfs for a beautiful hike followed by warm drinks, pints and tasty food when they arrive back at the pub. During prior walking events, the hosts have put on their own BBQ in the lovely garden area at the back of the property but had sought out something different this year – which is where ourselves at Hog Roast Fort William…

    Hog Roast Wedding Breakfast Ettrick

Just imagine the thrill of a hog roast Ettrick spectacle at your wedding reception – your guests tantalised by the incredible smells of the delicious meat and then astonished by all of the delectable tastes once it’s served. Billy and Ida contacted us several months ago with this in mind but with a bit of a twist; they wanted a hog roast Ettrick wedding breakfast instead of an evening meal! As the couple were heading off to their honeymoon straight after the wedding service itself, they decided to serve the main meal in the morning before church instead of the more traditional way of having a hog roast for a reception…

21st Birthday – Hog Roast Peterhead

Our tasty winter warmer menu is often a big success at outdoor events this time of year, once the nights get cooler and guests need a little warming up when partying outside, but it’s also ideal for indoor events, like the one we catered over the weekend. You may not already know that we can cater inside your venue, but it’s an option for your party or event as long as the space is large enough and well-ventilated. For Georgina’s 21st birthday celebration, her parents wanted all of the village hall party to be held indoors, and that meant cooking the hog roast Peterhead they ordered from scratch indoors, too. We…

    Company Party- Hog Roast Aberdeen

Friday saw us up in Aberdeen again for the Park Inn Hotel for a hog roast at an oil and gas company party, this is the second time we have been at this venue for this event. It was a simple menu 1 consisting of Hog Roast rolls with crispy crackling and a range of sauces. It was a fantastic day and we served outside under our gazebo. Serving 200 hungry people pulled pork rolls in the Aberdeen sunshine we thought how lucky we are to be back at this event. With everybody well fed and happy we said our farewells and departed for the trip home, with Jimmy the…

Royal Highland Show – Hog Roast Edinburgh

The Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh saw spitting pig catering for the Hereford Cattle Society for their annual dinner after the days judging, this is the 6th year we have catered for this small event for our friends in the Hereford Society, it started when we ourselves were showing our cows at the show and has become a permanent fixture in our diary ever since, whether we are showing cows or not we have always been asked back. This year instead of the usual Hog Roast they opted for some of our own Hereford Beef slow roasted with roasted carrots and honeyed parsnips with roast potatoes, gravy and Horseradish sauce,…
