Hog Roast Scotland – Roasts with a View Out at Loch Lomond

To get the very best of Scotland you need only head a little out of the central belt and take a trip up north so see some of the most stunning sights in the world. Up through the highlands we are really blessed with the most stunning mountains, Munros, hills, lochs and lakes. Take a drive through or a nice hike at anytime and you will be treated to wonderful views in every which direction.

That also makes this area of the UK a stunning spot for an event. Take your pick, set up our signature Hog Roast Scotland feast, and enjoy one of best events ever here in Scotland. We can attest first hand that the lake and loch-side spots are some of the best in the world for events. We were set up at one just this past week as the Hog Roast Scotland team headed out to Loch Lomond to cater for Lady Colquhoun and Sir Malcolm’s summer fair.

We were set up at their home of Camstradden House, where a whole arrangement was set up in the incredible grounds by Loch Lomond with tents, stall, and pipers providing a perfect chorus to an incredible day out in the sun at one of Scotland’s premier spots. Loch Lomond is of course famed all around the world; visitors come far and wide to see it, but few will ever get to see it as we did for the fair with all of this added celebration around it. Immortalised in the song by the same name, it was a true privilege to be able to cater at Loch Lomond.

And what a day it was, too. The Hog Roast Scotland team knew we would have to cook something special to live up to the expectations of this landmark spot and event. Our hog roast is just about up to the task, but once accompanied with our other refreshing salads, slaws, stuffing, crackling, fries and sauces, we reckon it all lived up to the billing! By low road or high road, we were there to cater for every guest they came on by to meet as the bonny, bonny, banks of Loch Lomond!
