Hog Roast Pitlessie Heads To Pitlessie House Holidays For A Fantastic Party!
You know what’s cool about catering? It’s not just the grub (though, yes, the food is definitely a highlight). It’s all the interesting spots we get to visit.
Just last week, Hog Roast Pitlessie rolled up to Pitlessie House Holidays – a proper old maltings cottage sitting right on the edge of the sleepy village of Pitlessie. The countryside there stretches out forever and we’re pretty sure we spotted some deer darting between the trees. Jim, the one throwing the party, couldn’t have picked a more cracking spot.
About 70 folks showed up, all ready for a good time and even better food. And our Hog Roast Pitlessie team was ready with our crowd-pleading Gourmet BBQ menu.
This menu always gets people talking, and this occasion was no different.
We kicked things off with juicy British beef burgers, loaded up with melty cheese and crispy fried onions. They didn’t stick around for long, I’ll tell you that much. The sausages were grilling away nicely, and our Thai chicken kebabs brought a bit of spice that got a lot of nods of approval. Oh, and the sticky spareribs? Let’s just say they’re worth licking your fingers for.
No BBQ is complete without sides, right? So, naturally, Hog Roast Pitlessie cooked up fresh classic fries and sweet potato fries, perfect for dunking in sauces or enjoying with a bit of salt and vinegar. We also had some fresh salads to brighten things up and soft rolls and wraps for folks to build their own BBQ-style sandwiches just how they like them.
For us, the best part of this event was seeing everyone genuinely enjoying themselves. Plates piled high, people chatting and laughing, and plenty of second helpings. The whole vibe was relaxed and happy.
By the end of the day, we packed up feeling pretty pleased with ourselves knowing that Jim’s party was definitely one to remember, and we’ve no doubt that our food played an important role.
