Hog Roast Melrose Served A Spellbinding Halloween Feast!

For Hog Roast Melrose, Halloween isn’t just a holiday; it’s one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year! This spooky season was no exception, as our bookings took us on an adventure across the region, catering everything from pumpkin patch outings and scare trails to fancy dress discos and beyond. We absolutely loved witnessing the creativity behind each event and, even more than that, the smiles on people’s faces as they bit into our delicious dishes!

Our final Halloween event of 2024 was a real treat organised by the fabulous Alison. This adults-only soirée was held at a nearby cocktail bar, which had transformed into a hauntingly delightful venue, complete with themed decorations that set the perfect mood.

The evening featured an incredible lineup of entertainers that kept the 100 guests thoroughly engaged, including a tasseomancy guide who delighted everyone with tea leaf readings and a spiritualist who took them on a fascinating journey through fortune-telling and tarot readings. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the psychic show had everyone on the edge of their seats – our team included!

Of course, such an electrifying evening called for a feast to match, and Hog Roast Melrose’s Hog Roast Dining Experience Menu fit the vibe perfectly. Guests began their culinary journey with an array of elegant canapés, featuring everything from roasted duck and smoked Scottish salmon to mini quiches and pizzas.

For the main course, the spread was nothing short of spectacular. Guests were treated to a buffet that included spit-roasted lamb served with Yorkshire puddings and mint sauce, a whole-roasted turkey accompanied by sage butter, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, and delightful grilled vegetable kebabs with optional halloumi. The sides were equally tempting, featuring heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, classic Caesar salad, gourmet coleslaw, seasonal salad leaves, and buttery new potatoes.

To cap off this unforgettable evening, Hog Roast Melrose served up a buffet of creamy cheesecakes and decadent profiteroles, leaving everyone in awe of the feast.

With such fantastic food and captivating entertainment, this Halloween gathering was a resounding success! We’re grateful to have been a part of Alison’s event and would love to return next year!
